Yashica Electro 35 GX Compact Rangefinder *Black
YASHICA ELECTRO 35 GX *Black
PRODUCT ID: SF. 110906
OVERVIEW
The Yashica Electro 35 GX is a small coupled-rangefinder, leaf-shuttered 35mm camera with aperture-priority automatic exposure. Released 2 years after the very successful Electro GSN, the GX was the last in the GSN series, as the premium model. Significantly smaller than the GSN and armed with the extremely sharp 40mm F/1.7 lens that shines in low-light, it’s hard to find a better weapon for the street shooter.
OLYMPUS XA + A11 FLASH SOLD
OLYMPUS XA + A11 FLASH
PRODUCT ID: SF.100813
OVERVIEW
This is the finest model in the XA range - the original and best. It has a high-grade 6 element wide aperture lens (F-Zuiko 35mm F2.8), semi automatic aperture preferred shutter system (featuring aperture priority automation), and 85cm to infinity range finder. And of course the revolutionary capsule design.
The camera is capable of taking extremely high quality photographs – certainly rivaling those from the majority of modern SLRs and many Leica and Contax models. A 35mm lens is probably the most useful focal length for general use – if you need long focus lenses, you are going to have to put up with an SLR with all the weight and inconvenience they bring. The benefits of a camera that can sit in your pocket all day normally far outweigh the lack of long focus lenses and other gadgets.
The rangefinder is what lifts this model above the crowd. If you have used Lecias or other rangefinder cameras you will know how quickly and easy they are to focus. And with such a quiet shutter the camera is ideal for the sort of unobtrusive photography that captures people being people.
Konica Auto S3 Rangefinder Camera
Konica Auto S3 Rnagefinder
PRODUCT ID: SF.110903
OVERVIEW
The Konica Auto S3 was a versatile 35mm, shutter-priority rangefinder camera. Though the camera is similar in some respects to the Vivitar 35ES,Revue 400SE, Prinz 35ER and Minolta Hi-Matic 7sII, Konica has installed a superior RF/VF system and an important ambient light balancing GN Flash system, at the cost of manual over-ride.
The S3 has a fast(f/1.8) 38mm, six-element lens that has a reputation for producing extremely sharp and detailed images. This is one of the nicest compact 35RF cameras around.
